We are seeking a qualified QS - MEP/Civil to join our dynamic construction team. This role is pivotal in managing both the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of projects along with various civil engineering tasks, ensuring that all operations proceed smoothly and efficiently. As a QS - MEP/Civil, you will be responsible for managing project costs, conducting estimates, and overseeing the entire procurement process to ensure that all aspects adhere to industry standards and project timelines. A successful candidate will foster coordination between on-site teams and clients while mitigating risks and addressing any discrepancies that may arise during the construction process. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP and civil cost estimates for various projects before bidding.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
• Manage and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals, providing recommendations to the management.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop budgets and schedules during the project design phase.
• Analyze and reconcile project costs throughout its lifecycle, reporting discrepancies and ensuring financial accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records of all project expenditures and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of progress payment applications and variations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on MEP and civil works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and legal requirements.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools relevant to the construction industry.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
