Business Analyst

Role & responsibilities:

1. Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for various financial projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis for new initiatives and system enhancements.
• Convert business needs into well-defined Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and User Stories.

2. Process Flow & User Journey Documentation

• Develop user journey, process flows and system workflows to ensure clear understanding of business processes.
• Utilize tools like MS Visio or Figma to create process diagrams and UI mock ups.
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices for financial operations.

3. Release Management & Testing Support

• Prepare and manage release documentation, including change logs, impact assessments, and deployment plans.
• Work closely with QA teams to define test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate system enhancements before production deployment and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards.

4. Stakeholder & Cross-functional Coordination

• Act as a bridge between business, IT, operations, compliance, and product teams.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with RBI guidelines, compliance, GST, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Financial Services/NBFC sector.
• Strong expertise in requirement gathering, documentation, and process modelling.
• Proficiency in creating business process flowcharts, user diagrams, and wireframes.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Figma, and Excel.
• Experience in release management, version control, and deployment documentation.
• Deep understanding of NBFC products, including loans, credit underwriting, collections, and compliance.
• Familiarity with Loan Management Systems (LMS), Core Banking Systems (CBS), and financial analytics tools.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, RBI guidelines, AML/KYC compliance, GST, and reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
