Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in software solutions, RFID, and IoT to bridge the gap between business needs and technology implementation. The role involves understanding client requirements, analyzing business processes, and working with technical teams to deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis:

• • Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for software, RFID, and IoT solutions.
• • Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to define functional and non-functional requirements.
• • Work closely with clients to understand pain points and provide innovative solutions leveraging RFID and IoT technologies.
• • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, workflows, and process diagrams.

2. Solution Design & Documentation:

• • Define and document business processes, system flows, and technical requirements.
• • Collaborate with software development, IoT engineers, and RFID solution providers to ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
• • Design use cases, wireframes, and prototypes for system functionalities.
• • Develop Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), and Business Requirement Documents (BRD).

3. Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination:

• • Act as a liaison between clients, development teams, and hardware vendors for RFID and IoT implementations.
• • Work with project managers to define project timelines, scope, and deliverables.
• • Ensure project milestones align with business goals and client expectations.
• • Assist in change management and facilitate smooth adoption of new solutions.

4. Testing & Quality Assurance:

• • Define test cases and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for software and IoT solutions.
• • Validate RFID and IoT system integrations, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
• • Identify and resolve functional and technical issues before deployment.

5. Data & Analytics:

• • Analyze RFID and IoT-generated data to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
• • Work with data teams to ensure real-time tracking, asset visibility, and predictive analytics are effectively utilized.
• • Ensure proper data flow, storage, and security compliance for IoT-generated data.

6. Compliance & Risk Management:

• • Ensure that RFID and IoT implementations comply with industry standards and data security regulations.
• • Identify risks associated with hardware and software integration and suggest mitigation strategies.

7. Training & Documentation:

• • Conduct training sessions for end-users and internal teams on new RFID and IoT-based applications.
• • Prepare user manuals, SOPs, and training guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• • Educational Background: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or Business Administration.
• • Experience in Business Analysis: 3+ years of experience in software projects, preferably in RFID, IoT, or supply chain automation.
• • Technical Knowledge:
• • Familiarity with RFID technologies (passive/active tags, readers, middleware).
• • Understanding of IoT protocols, cloud platforms, and edge computing.
• • Experience working with APIs, software integration, and databases.
• • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze business needs and provide innovative technology solutions.
• • Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, developers, and vendors.
• • Project Documentation: Proficiency in creating BRD, FRS, SRS, and process flows.
• • Tools & Software Knowledge: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Power BI, SQL, or other reporting tools.
• • Certification (Preferred): CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile-related certifications.

• • Manufacturing & Logistics (Asset tracking, warehouse management).
• • Retail & Supply Chain (RFID-based inventory tracking, smart shelves).
• • Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals (IoT-based patient monitoring, RFID-tracked medical inventory).
• • Smart Cities & Industrial Automation (IoT-enabled smart infrastructure, RFID-based access control).
