Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) – Cybersecurity , you will be responsible for all technical
sales activities related to the Cisco Cybersecurity portfolio in the India market under the Scale
segment.
This is a “hunting” sales role with a primary focus on “new business creation” involving significant
field presence with partners, distributors and customers. You will be required to collaborate
internally with cross-functional teams, externally with the Cisco channel to drive the go-to-market
effectively and ensure high double-digit bookings growth.


KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
†Develop and lead Cybersecurity territory growth plans demonstrating clear ownership while
collaborating with internal stakeholders and Cisco’s channel partners.
†Work with Cisco’s distributors and partners and provide technical knowledge & ensure readiness
to sell.
†Drive pipeline creation through Distributors and partners with a clear focus on partner-led funnel
generation and support closing deals to win.
• Ensure accuracy in Pipeline management, Forecasting and reporting on a weekly basis aligned to
Cisco’s strong Commit sales culture.
• Ensure achievement of key sales metrics such as Bookings growth targets, increasing
Cybersecurity Penetration rates, increasing pipeline conversion rates in the defined territory.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
・BS, BA or equivalent.
・Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in selling Cybersecurity solutions such as Network Cybersecurity
, endpoint security , email security, IDP or cloud Cybersecurity and related management platforms
・Strong technical hands-on knowledge, skills in demonstration, testing and reporting on solutions
・Hunting Sales experience with proven track record in new business acquisition
・Proven experience in working directly with customers in small and medium business space,
channel partners and distributors
・Self-learning motivation to catch up on new technologies and products
・Professional English communication skills including presentation and documentation
Desired Skills
・Understanding of network technology and Cisco product portfolio including Meraki
・Ability to work in cross-functional and complex matrix organization environment.
・Strong aspiration to grow within a global organization with a long term career goal
