Job Description:
- We are seeking results-driven candidates for Group Credit Life Sales to lead client acquisition and relationship management in the NBFC, MFI, and lending ecosystem.
- This role focuses on driving growth in our Insurance Broking business by acquiring and managing large and mid-level accounts, including MFIs, NBFCs, Lending Partners, and Brokers.
- The ideal candidate will excel in building partnerships, strengthening client relationships, and driving revenue through upselling and cross-selling Group Credit Life solutions.
- This leadership role requires strategic thinking, team management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients in the NBFC, MFI, brokers, and credit lending space, focusing on promoting and selling Group Credit Life insurance solutions.
- Maintain a strong lead pipeline while deepening relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve acquisition and revenue targets while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Manage client accounts end-to-end, ensuring seamless onboarding and delivery of Group Credit Life products while driving profitability through mutually beneficial, vision-aligned deals.
- Collaborate across departments, including Sales, Product, Tech, Digital Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Operations, to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines, enabling high-quality outcomes within budgets.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the Group Credit Life insurance segment.
- Leverage data and analytics to shape strategies, measure success, and enhance decision-making.
- Own the P&L performance of client accounts, focusing on topline growth, margin optimization, and renewals to ensure sustainable profitability and client satisfaction.
Your key qualifications & competencies:
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development from Insurance, Insurance Tech, Financial Services, NBFC & MFI sector.
- Experience in working with senior management / decision makers within the organization and for the clients.
- Experience & expertise in P&L management, leading teams to performance and client interfacing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively negotiate and have a problem-solving approach.
- Open to travel extensively.
