We are seeking a dedicated Academic Counselor with expertise in tech career counseling to join our team. As an Academic Counselor at Coursevita, you will play a pivotal role in guiding learners towards successful careers in the technology industry by providing comprehensive counseling and support services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized career counseling sessions with learners to assess their interests, skills, and career aspirations.
- Provide personalized guidance on educational pathways, training programs, and certification options relevant to the technology industry.
- Assist learners in developing career goals and creating action plans to achieve them, including resume building and interview preparation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement career development initiatives, workshops, and events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with learners, acting as a trusted advisor throughout their educational journey.
- Monitor learner progress and provide ongoing support and encouragement to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and learner interactions in the companys database.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Proven experience in career counseling, particularly in the technology sector.
- Strong understanding of tech careers, including software development, cybersecurity, data science, and IT support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with learners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in using counseling techniques and assessment tools to guide career decision-making.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and educational resources is a plus.
