Job Description
CareerAmbitious is hiring an Academic Counselor to guide students and professionals in choosing the right courses to advance their careers. If you re passionate about education, have strong communication skills, and want to help individuals make informed decisions about their learning paths, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one counseling to students and professionals about our programs.
- Understand the career goals and educational needs of candidates to recommend the right courses.
- Guide prospective students through the application and enrollment process.
- Answer questions related to courses, eligibility, fees, and program details.
- Maintain records of student interactions and follow up with leads.
- Collaborate with the marketing and admissions teams to improve enrollment rates.
- Stay updated on industry trends and educational requirements to provide accurate guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in any field (preferably in education or counseling).
- 0 to 2 years of experience in academic counseling or a related role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and assess individual student needs.
- Proficiency in handling multiple inquiries and managing time effectively.
- Experience in the education sector or knowledge of career-focused training programs is a plus.
