Experience :

- 15+ years of experience in software engineering.

- Minimum of 5+ years in leading the LEAD, with strong experience in the latest technology trends.

- Preferred background in full-stack software engineering, ideally in BFSI/Banking or related domains.

- Proven leadership experience in leading, developing, and scaling engineering teams.

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer with 15+ years of expertise in software development, particularly in Java technologies, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience leading technology streams in a startup or mid-sized IT product company.

Experience in API Architect with a focus on Java/JEE, Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and Microservices Architecture will be key. If you have a passion for mentoring teams, delivering cutting-edge solutions, and working in the BFSI/Banking domain, we would love to have you on board.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design & Develop enterprise-grade, high-volume web applications, platforms, integrations, and technical solutions utilizing Java and JEE technologies.

- Hands-on development expertise in Java technologies, including Servlets, JDBC API, Java Message API, Spring Framework & Spring Boot, JavaScript (Node.js/React.js), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Provide guidance and mentorship to Java development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Design solutions, develop, implement, maintain, and support Java-based components and interfaces.

- Drive the adoption of Microservices architecture, analytics, and automation flows within the team.

- Work extensively with APIs and security frameworks to ensure robust system designs.

- Lead project teams including Java, Front-end, and Database developers, taking charge of architecture, project management, and ensuring timely delivery.

- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and software quality measurement tools to maintain high coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience in Java technologies (Spring, Spring Boot, JEE, etc.).

- Proficiency in JavaScript, particularly with Node.js and React.js.

- Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- In-depth understanding of Microservices architecture and building scalable systems.

- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with experience in leading and scaling development teams.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices is highly recommended.

- BFSI/Banking domain experience is preferred
