Power BI Developer (3-14 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex and impactful Power BI solutions that drive data-driven decision making across the organization.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective and visually appealing dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex Power BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models.

- Develop and maintain high-quality data models using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), including advanced DAX functions, calculated columns, and measures.

- Implement Role-Level Security (RLS) to ensure data security and access control.

- Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with business users to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights.

- Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues.

- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in Power BI development.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of experience in the Power BI development space.

- Real-time experience working in Power BI that includes:

1. Model Creation

2. DAX (including Advanced)

3. RLS Implementation

4. Performance Tuning

5. Security

- Comprehensive knowledge of SQL.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Passion for data visualization and a desire to create impactful reports.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and other Azure data services.

- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and visualization.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.

- Experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
