Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented UI/UX Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX testing and a passion for delivering top-notch user experiences.
As a UI/UX Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the usability, functionality, and design integrity of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to identify issues, validate designs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
UI/UX Testing & Validation :
- Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces and interactions across both web and mobile platforms.
- Ensure that the design specifications (e.g., alignment, spacing, colors, typography) are accurately implemented.
- Identify and report inconsistencies, defects, or usability issues that deviate from the design.
- Evaluate visual elements, such as images, animations, and transitions, ensuring they align with design standards.
Usability & Functionality Testing :
- Perform usability testing to assess navigation ease, user flow, and overall user experience.
- Test application functionality to ensure features work as intended from the user's perspective.
- Conduct cross-device and cross-browser testing to verify consistency and responsiveness.
Cross-Platform Compatibility Testing :
- Test designs on various devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) and across different browsers to ensure cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
- Validate that user interfaces are responsive and adapt well to different screen sizes and orientations.
Collaboration with Design & Development Teams :
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to review design wireframes, prototypes, and visual elements, ensuring alignment between design and implementation.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues during testing phases.
- Provide actionable feedback on design improvements and suggestions for enhancing the user experience.
User Feedback & Continuous Improvement :
- Analyze user feedback and usability test results to recommend improvements to the user interface and overall user experience.
- Participate in iterative design sprints, testing prototypes, and validating user stories.
Documentation & Reporting :
- Document all test cases, test results, and defects clearly in issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Prepare detailed test reports highlighting usability issues and potential risks to help drive improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Attention to Detail : Ability to spot minor inconsistencies in design and functionality.
- Analytical Skills : Strong ability to assess usability and suggest design enhancements.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with design and development teams.
- Problem-Solving : Proactive approach to identifying and resolving usability issues and design flaws.
- Collaboration : Comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers.
- User-Centered Mindset : Passion for understanding user needs and advocating for optimal user experience.
Technical Skills & Experience :
- Experience with accessibility testing (e.g., WCAG, ARIA) to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) to understand technical implementation.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision.
- Familiarity with agile development and SCRUM methodologies.
- Certification in usability testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
