SAP ABAP Developer (6-9 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ABAP development on HANA and a proven track record of success in delivering high-quality solutions.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP solutions to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP solutions, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, conversions, forms, and workflows.

- Expertise in ABAP on HANA, including SQL Script, CDS Views, and AMDP methods.

- Strong understanding of ABAP new syntax (version 7.4 and above), including internal tables, OOPs concepts, and advanced data handling techniques.

- Proficient in debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programs using tools like ABAP Debugger, Runtime Analysis, and SQL Trace.

- Extensive experience with ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, and various development objects (reports, modules, function groups, classes, interfaces).

- Expertise in developing classical and interactive reports using ALV grid control.

- Strong knowledge of dialog programming, including screen design, PAI/PBO modules, and user dialog interactions.

- Experience with object-oriented programming concepts and their implementation in ABAP.

- Expertise in developing and implementing smart forms and Adobe forms.

- Experience in data migration activities, including data uploads using BDC, BAPI, and LSMW.

- Strong understanding of RFC (Remote Function Call) development and integration.

- Experience in developing and scheduling batch jobs.

- Collaborate with business users and functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and implementation.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP related issues.

Required Skills :

- 6-9 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong understanding of ABAP on HANA.

- Expertise in ABAP new syntax (version 7.4 and above).

- Excellent debugging and performance tuning skills.

- Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, and development objects.

- Experience with ALV grid control, dialog programming, and OOPs concepts.

- Expertise in smart forms, data migration, and RFC development.

- Experience with batch jobs and scheduling.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

- Knowledge of SAP UI5/Fiori development.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
