SAP ABAP Developer - SD/MM/FICO Modules (6-9 yrs)

Role : SAP ABAP Senior Developer.

Skill Experience :

- Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.

- Proven experience working with various SAP modules such as SAP SD, MM, FICO, HR, WM, PP, and others.

- Experience in SAP ECC, CRM, FIORI and newer SAP technologies (BTP, UI5) is a plus.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in ABAP programming: reports, forms (SAPscript, SmartForms, Adobe Forms), ALV (ABAP List Viewer), BAPI, BADI, and user exits.

- Solid understanding of SAP architecture, data dictionary, table structures, and custom objects.

- Strong experience with IDocs, BAPI, RFC, and Web Services for integrations.

- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools in ABAP.

Tools & Technologies :

- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and Transport Management System (TMS) for handling transports and change management.

- Experience with ABAP Workbench (SE80), SE11, SE24, SE93, SE71, and SE78 for various development activities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms using ABAP programming language.

- Work closely with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and other systems using IDocs, BAPI, RFC, and Web Services.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality of developed solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to ABAP development.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Adhere to best practices and coding standards for ABAP development.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

- Collaborate with other team members, including SAP Basis, Security, and functional consultants.

- Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
