Job Description :

- We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BASIS Consultant with a strong background in managing and optimizing SAP systems on Oracle and HANA databases.

- The ideal candidate will handle system installation, configuration, administration, and performance tuning, ensuring availability, reliability, and efficiency in both cloud and on-premise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain SAP environments (SAP ECC, BW on HANA, BOBJ, Fiori, BTP, CPI, etc.) on Oracle & HANA databases.

- Perform regular system monitoring and ensure optimal performance.

- Manage database backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.

- Manage SAP system landscapes across development, testing, and production environments.

- Ensure proper architecture and design for SAP systems and associated applications.

- Optimize SAP systems, focusing on Oracle and HANA databases.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in application and database layers.

- Manage SAP systems on Azure Cloud, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.

- Collaborate with cloud architects for secure and compliant SAP infrastructure.

- Expertise in Oracle and HANA database administration, including upgrades and tuning.

- Execute SAP system upgrades and patching with minimal downtime.

- Investigate and resolve SAP system issues, including crashes and connectivity problems.

- Implement SAP security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations and troubleshooting steps.

- Work with functional consultants, developers, and other IT teams to meet business needs.

Requirements :

- 10+ years of SAP BASIS administration with expertise in SAP ECC, PO, CRM, BOBJ, BTP, BW on HANA, and SAP HANA databases.

- Proven experience in Oracle database management in SAP environments.

- Hands-on experience managing SAP on Azure Cloud.

- Expertise in SAP HANA and Oracle database management, including performance tuning and optimization.

- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP Cloud Platform.

- SAP Administration or equivalent SAP certifications.

- Azure certifications (e.g , Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

- Knowledge of SAP HANA Studio, HANA Cockpit, SAP BW tools, and monitoring tools (e.g , SAP EarlyWatch).

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Ability to mentor junior BASIS consultants and manage tasks in fast-paced environments.

- Cloud deployment experience with Azure or private clouds.

- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
