Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP PM modules and their integration with SAP S/4HANA. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance processes, helping organizations optimize equipment lifecycle management, and enabling operational excellence.
The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of SAP PM solutions tailored to meet client needs, ensuring enhanced asset management and reduced downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP PM Implementation and Support:
- Configure and implement SAP PM modules to align with business requirements.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of plant maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
- Provide end-to-end support, including issue resolution and performance optimization.
S/4HANA Expertise:
- Utilize SAP S/4HANA capabilities to enhance maintenance operations.
- Facilitate migration and upgrades to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring process continuity and efficiency.
Master Data Management:
- Maintain equipment master data, functional locations, and maintenance plans.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency for reliable system performance.
Integration:
- Work closely with other SAP module teams (MM, SD, FI/CO, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities.
- Support the integration of third-party tools with SAP PM for advanced functionalities.
Work Order Management:
- Configure and manage work order processes, including scheduling, resource allocation, and execution tracking.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in maintenance activities.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop and generate reports for maintenance performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Leverage SAP Fiori and analytics tools for real-time insights and decision-making.
User Training and Documentation:
- Create and deliver training materials for end-users and stakeholders.
- Document system configurations, customizations, and user guides for future reference.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP PM modules, including equipment management, notifications, and work orders.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, specifically in plant maintenance functionalities.
- Understanding of maintenance cost tracking and reporting.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP PM, including at least 1 year in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Experience in full-cycle SAP PM implementations and post-go-live support.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech), Master's in Computer Applications (MCA), or an equivalent qualification.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Preferred:
- SAP PM certification is an advantage.
- Experience in managing large-scale maintenance operations in industries like manufacturing, utilities, or energy.
