Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant to join our team and contribute to the successful implementation and optimization of SAP SD solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP SD processes, in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA capabilities, and a passion for delivering robust and innovative solutions that align with business goals.
This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, configure the SAP SD module, and support the integration with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP SD Implementation and Configuration:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP SD solutions to meet sales and distribution business requirements.
- Customize SD functionalities such as order management, pricing, billing, and credit management.
- Lead workshops and sessions to gather and document user requirements.
S/4HANA Transition and Utilization:
- Leverage SAP S/4HANA capabilities to enhance sales and distribution operations.
- Support the migration of existing SD processes to S/4HANA, ensuring system stability and optimization.
- Implement advanced analytics and reporting features in S/4HANA for sales and distribution processes.
Integration with Other SAP Modules:
- Ensure seamless integration of SD with modules such as MM (Materials Management), FI/CO (Finance and Controlling), and PP (Production Planning).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain and customer service processes.
Order-to-Cash (OTC) Process Management:
- Optimize the order-to-cash process, including order entry, delivery scheduling, billing, and invoicing.
- Develop and configure pricing procedures, discounts, and rebates to support business strategies.
- Address and resolve issues related to sales order processing and delivery.
Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide post-implementation support for SAP SD systems, resolving incidents and addressing user queries.
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Process Improvement:
- Conduct process reviews to identify areas for improvement in sales and distribution workflows.
- Recommend and implement best practices to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
Training and Documentation:
- Deliver user training sessions on SAP SD functionalities and updates.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, workflows, and user manuals.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP SD functionalities, including sales orders, delivery, billing, and pricing.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution module features.
- Familiarity with integration points between SD and other SAP modules.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD, including at least 1 year in SAP S/4HANA.
- Proven track record of successful SAP SD implementations and support projects.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech), Master's in Computer Applications (MCA), or equivalent.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred:
- SAP SD certification is a plus.
- Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or FMCG is advantageous.
