Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to join our team for a pivotal role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting production planning processes. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of SAP PP modules and demonstrate expertise in SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP PP Implementation and Support:

- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP PP modules to meet business requirements.

Provide comprehensive post-implementation support, ensuring optimal system performance.

- Customize solutions for production planning, scheduling, and execution processes.

S/4HANA Expertise:

- Utilize SAP S/4HANA capabilities to streamline production operations.

- Support organizations in transitioning to SAP S/4HANA, leveraging its advanced features for planning and analytics.

Production Planning Processes:

- Configure and manage processes such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, and Demand Management.

- Optimize production scheduling, master data management, and bill of materials (BOM).

Integration with Other Modules:

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other modules like MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and FI/CO (Finance and Controlling).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end business processes.

Process Improvement:

- Analyze existing production processes and identify areas for improvement.

- Implement best practices and SAP tools to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.

Reporting and Analytics:

- Develop reports and dashboards for production performance monitoring.

- Leverage SAP Fiori applications for real-time insights and decision-making.

User Training and Documentation:

- Create and deliver training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.

- Prepare detailed documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and project reports.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP PP modules, including MRP, BOM, Work Centers, and Shop Floor Control.

- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA production planning functionalities.

- Familiarity with Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) tools is a plus.

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP PP, with at least 1 year in an SAP S/4HANA environment.

- Proven track record of successful full-cycle SAP PP implementations and support projects.

Educational Background:

- Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech), Master's in Computer Applications (MCA), or equivalent.

Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

Preferred:

- SAP PP certification is an advantage.

- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or process industries is beneficial.
