Key Responsibilities:
o Develop and build high-level customer relationships within existing accounts and prospect for new clients.
o Effectively present technical and business value propositions to clients.
o Close deals and generate revenue within the Defense and Private industries.
o Create and build sales pipelines.
o Develop and execute account and territory planning.
o Proven track record of generating and closure of the PO.
o Interact regularly with the technical team to position suitable products with customers.
o Identify new markets and collaborate with the Marketing team to expand reach.
o Should be familiar with selling into Aerospace and Defence accounts.
o Should be familiar with Defence/PSU tendering process.
o Develop and manage a funnel of sales activities.
o Document and report sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
o 5+ years of experience handling Government accounts such as DRDO labs and Public Sector Units.
o Experience selling software products, preferably Mechanical CAD tools or Simulation tools.
- Education:
o Engineering graduate in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automotive.
o MBA is an added advantage.
- Skills:
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to effectively present technical and business value propositions.
o Strong understanding of the Aerospace and Defense industry.
o Strong understanding of the tendering process within the Defence/PSU sector.
