Skills Qualifications:
Capable to work with cross functional teams
M.E./M. Tech. with 3-5 years of experience (preferably Thermal engineering)
Deep understanding of design principles (thermal structural)
Proficiency in structural design/thermal design, design compliance
Experience in design of compressors or rotating machines
Proficiency in preparing engineering drawings dimensioning ( GDT ), performing tolerance analysis, basic engineering calculations, design layouts, etc.
Good understanding of machine design manufacturing processes - Casting, Sheetmetal, Plastics design
Good in written verbal communication
Added Advantage with:
Hands on experience on CAD ( Nx ) drafting
FEA, CFD understanding
Knowledge of engineering tools like DFMEA/ DFMA /DOE
Knowledge of HVAC
Responsibility:
Involve in design development of Air conditioning scroll compressor - Advance Technologies, New Product Development projects
Perform analytical/design calculations related to component compressor design - component design considering different manufacturing aspects a nalysis study
Concept generation - Develop new engineering concepts helping improving product efficiency
Breaking down design problems into milestones, preparing detailed project plan, schedule plan.
Convert ideas/thoughts into 3d models using CAD ( Nx ) - meeting design requirements for production, proto build, FEA, etc.
Collaborate Co-ordinate with different stake holders teams across the globe - Design, NPD, Project Engineering, AME, Analysis, Suppliers, Manufacturing, etc.
Plan design reviews, quality checks, knowledge sharing. Prepare detail project reports
