Job Description
- Utilize CAD software (Creo/SolidWorks) to create 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Familiar with Solid modelling, Surface modelling, Assembly and Drawing modules of Creo
- Experience in designing plastics, Sheetmetal, machined components keeping DFM&A considerations in mind.
- Experience in thermal management of electromechanical systems.
- Design and validate air and liquid cooling technologies for thermal management
- Optimize heating & cooling solutions for all aspects of their performance, cost, and reliability
- Perform analysis (CFD) to validate fluid & thermal performance and safety of the designs
- Independently select optimal hardware components (heat exchanger, heaters, pump, fan, sensors, pipes, valves, fittings etc.) from external suppliers
- Calculate heat transfer for different mediums and scenarios
- Ability to propose different thermal design concepts based on given requirements and translate ideas and concepts into working prototypes through POC.
