Job Description

Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive the sales of Industrial Automation solutions in Pune and the surrounding regions.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, extensive sales experience in industrial automation, and a deep understanding of the local market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ⁠ Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the assigned region.
  • ⁠ Client Acquisition and Retention: Identify and engage potential clients, while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
  • Product Promotion: Promote and sell a range of industrial automation products and solutions, including PLCs, SCADA systems, HMI, VFDs, motion control, safety products, IIoT solutions, digital twins, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide expert technical guidance to clients, assisting them in selecting appropriate solutions tailored to their specific needs.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare and manage sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, and support teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of industrial automation products and solutions, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, motion control, safety systems, IIoT, and digital twin technologies.
  • Market Knowledge:Strong connections with customers in Pune and Maharashtra, with a proven track record of business development in the region.
  • ⁠Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information effectively.
  • ⁠Negotiation Skills:Strong negotiation abilities to close deals and manage contracts effectively.
  • Travel Requirements:Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in industrial automation, electrical systems, IIoT, digital twin technologies, and Industry 4.0 solutions.
