Job Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for unearthing consumer insights from viewership data through quantitative analysis, designing the FPC based on viewer availability & flawless placement of all audio-visual elements. This role is critical to deliver a seamless viewer experience and drive viewership.
About the team:
This team is a custodian for primary & secondary consumer research projects for a leading Hindi entertainment channel covering the gamut of research needs including consumer understanding & societal trend mapping, channel & show health measurement and Marketing & communication research
Key Responsibilities:
- Design FPC (Fixed Point Chart) based on the viewership trends.
- Developing a plan to leverage key opportunities and combat threats to maximize viewership
- Responsible for the timely creation of monthly/day-to-day programming schedules/FPC and highlights for allocated channels in the RMS (Rights Management System).
- Communication with Ops team on day-to-day schedule update as well as programming operation such as show, movie and event's break patterns, slot duration & versions/media, etc.
- Communicate with Traffic & Presentation and Sales on daily changes to programming or break structures and inventory planning.
- Follow up with commercial and RSG team for the assets (shows, episodes, movies title, etc.) creation and its rights in the RMS for FPC creation.
- Managing EPG and guiding the Team (Third Party Vendor) for proper shows update on all the platforms for channels.
- Assume all tasks related to RMS Scheduling System - covering entry records of individual programmes, exhibitions & runs, inventory, breaks & FPC/schedule generation
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the channel feeds, including on-air presentation scheduling strategy such as promos, breaks, inventory management etc that enhances the viewer's experience during and between programmes
- To assist in weekly FPC analysis, slot evaluation, creating competition schedule/FPC on weekly basis and other nos. churning from the BARC
- Weekly update on channel GRPs and program performance, viewership tracking: Market & TGwise
- Monitoring break structures and developing break strategy
- Creating compelling presentations / notes outlining the problem/opportunity areas, key insights and the way forward
- Giving inputs to design FPC (Fixed Point Chart) based on the viewership trends.
