Role: As System Administrator II Citrix, you are responsible for performing Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Citrix infrastructure systems within a business. Analyzes and resolves problems associated with the Citrix infrastructure system's servers, hardware, applications, and software. Detects, diagnoses, and reports application and VDI related problems.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining Citrix XenApp/Desktop 7.15
• Strong background in Citrix administration and understanding of scripting.
• Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of Citrix Presentation Server, XenApp and XenDesktop. Have performed Citrix upgrade and farm migration from planning through implementation.
• Performance tuning and optimizing server configurations for specific workloads.
• Remediate/mitigate vulnerabilities by scheduling change requests.
• Client-side configuration of XenApp/Desktop and troubleshoot various user issues.
• Knowledge on Server Operating Systems Win2008R2, Win2012R2, Win2016
• Experience in App and desktop visualization and configuration on server (load balancing)
• Strong knowledge in Provisioning Services (PVS) with versioning, Machine Creation Services (MCS)
• XenDesktop including Delivery Controllers, Provisioning Services, StoreFront servers Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high-quality environment.
• Strong understanding of Load Manager, Resource manager, Citrix Patch Management
• Hands on experience on VMWare vSphere Client, to manage VM and build the customized templates.
• Strong knowledge in Management and Troubleshooting of Persistent and Non-persistent VDI, Monthly Vdisk Updates
• Data Centers with failover expectations
• Good understanding of Incident, Change, Problem Management process and provide the RCAs on P1 tickets.
• Good Knowledge on AWS and Microsoft AVD
• Effectively lead detailed technical discussions develop, and present required briefing Materials to ensure the customers needs met.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of technical experience in corporate IT operations in Data Center Environment.
• Independent problem solver and self‐starter. Strong documentation abilities necessary to ensure timely problem resolution.
• Leading projects to implement new Citrix solutions
• Should have experience working in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.
• Good Knowledge of ITIL processes and implementation
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Always driving for continuous improvement across domains
• VDI build Experience (Virtual).
• Desired Certifications: CCA-V CCE-V, CCP-V, VMware VCP, ITIL
