Role Description :

This is a full-time hybrid System Administrator role at Cognam Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

The System Administrator will be responsible for system administration, troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support, network administration, and managing information technology systems.

The role is based in New Delhi, India, with the possibility of some work from home (Hybrid).

Qualifications :

- System Administration and Network Administration skills

- Troubleshooting and Technical Support expertise

- Experience in Information Technology

- Knowledge of Linux, Virtualization, and AWS

Skills and Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization

- Experience in AWS (Amazon Web Services): EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CLOUD FRONT, CLOUD WATCH, CLOUD FORMATION, GLACIER, ROUTE 53.

- Installation and configuration web server Like Nginx, Apache, Monitor ,configuration and optimization of Linux server

- Installation and configuration Application server like tomcat, IBM WAS

- Installation, configuration, database backup, database restore Like mysql and mongodb

- Experience in Installation and configuration Application server like tomcat, IBM WAS and creating tickets using Jira and use of different ticketing tools

- Installation, configuration , database backup, database restore Like mysql and mongodb

- Package management tools by using rpm & yum server

- Working on GIT and BitBucket.

- Configure LAMP and LEMP stack for developer.

- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure

- Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions

- Installation & Configuration of Production servers e. Web Server, Mysql Server, Linux Firewall, FTP, SFTP, Samba, NFS etc.

Qualifications for System Administrator :

- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required

- 5+years of database, network administration, or system administration experience

- System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields are a plus
