Senior ETL Tester (6-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for ETL processes.

- Perform thorough functional, regression, and integration testing of ETL applications.

- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity.

- Analyze test results, identify and document defects, and track them to resolution.

- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Experience in working with Agile methodologies and utilizing tools like Jira.

- Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives.

- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

Required Skills :

- 6-8 years of experience in ETL testing

- Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, data analysis, etc.)

- Experience with UI testing methodologies

- Basic understanding of automation tools, specifically Selenium with Java

Desired Skills :

- Experience in testing of ETL based applications within the Banking domain

- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
