ETL Tester (6-9 yrs)

Primary Skills : ETL Testing, Data Warehousing, MongoDB/No SQL, SQL Queries, JIRA/HP ALM/qTest, ETL & Reporting Tool (Preferably Informatica, Talend & Tableau)

Job Description :

- Must have 6 to 9 years of experience in ETL testing and Data Warehousing.

- Must have good working experience in MongoDB/No SQL.

- Expert in SQL Queries and familiar to work with Snowflake, Azure and Netezza database.

- Must have working experience in any of the ETL & Reporting Tool (Preferably Informatica, Talend & Tableau).

- Co-ordinate with Business and release teams.

- Expertise in Testing documentations like Test Strategy, Creating test cases and execution.

- Hands on Using tools like JIRA/HP ALM/qTest.

- Monitor JIRA stories to ensure test results, artifacts are updated for release management.

- Knowledge of Agile Methodology.

- Excellent in Communication.

- Able to handle client individually.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the ETL process.

- Design, plan, and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts for ETL validation and regression testing.

- Verify and validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency using ETL tools and SQL queries

- Test Execution and Software Testing skills

- Software Testing and Quality Assurance expertise

- Experience with ETL processes and tools

- Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts, such as star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions, facts

- Ensure all sign offs on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases, ) and that testing meets governance requirements

- Writing queries to extract data for test case data comparison

- Experience in data warehouse testing and SQL

- Proficiency in Software Testing

- Experience in ETL processes and Data Warehousing

- Strong SQL skills and experience working with ETL Testing

- Experience in creating and executing Test Cases

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Knowledge of SQL and databases

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- Certifications in Software Testing or Quality Assurance are a plus
