Information Technology Operations Manager - Business Applications (15-20 yrs)

Job title : Lead IT Operations Manager - Business Applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee IT Operations : Ensure availability and performance of Business Applications across 14 countries.

- Customer-Centric Approach : Proactively identify and resolve customer issues to improve service delivery.

- Incident & Problem Management : Ensure incidents are acknowledged and resolved promptly, with proper RCA and CAPA in place.

- Stakeholder Management : Regular business and partner engagement to optimize operations and ensure adherence to SLAs.

- Change Management : Oversee system changes, ensuring smooth execution to avoid service disruptions.

- Team Leadership : Lead 24x7 operations and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Capacity Planning & Monitoring : Ensure proper capacity management for all platforms.

- Governance & Compliance : Maintain IT governance and ensure operational policies are followed.

What We're Looking For :

- 15-20 years total IT experience with Telecom BSS/OSS solution support with high focus on customer success and customer satisfaction.

- Minimum 15 years relevant work experience, at least 7 years in telco/Service industry managing Campaign management, BSS, OSS, Enterprise.

- Good domain knowledge, communication, presentation, and customer management skills.

- Should be well versed in BSS, OSS, Enterprise COTS Applications of GSM like Billing, Mediation, Interconnect, Provisioning, Campaign Management, Sales and Distribution, IT VAS, CCT.

- Possess strong collaboration skills to drive towards a common organizational goal.

- People management experience is preferable.

- Demonstrated success in managing multiple services simultaneously.

- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

- Excellent communication, presentation, inter-personal, motivational and organizational skills.

- Successful background with stakeholder/partner management.

- Experience in keeping multiple applications on VM ware and Unix based K8s clusters, Private cloud, Open Source DBs, Oracle DB, Hadoop and running 24x7 with continuous focus on automation to reduce manual effort.

- Operational experience with Cloud and Micro-Services architecture.

- An ability to plan for the future while solving for the present.

- Decisiveness and an execution driven mindset.

- Expected to understand Product architecture, product features.

- Understanding of Open Digital Architecture principles is preferrable.

- Understanding on one programming language and databases is preferrable.

- Flexible with working in a 24x7 enterprise multi-cultural OpCo environment.

- Strong Knowledge of Telecom Business process and their integration.

- Should be able to understand the requirements, dependencies and customer business process and map to the product.

- Thorough understanding, appreciation and analysis of the issues underlying systems development.

- Detailed knowledge and appreciation of systems development lifecycles and methodologies.
