- The incumbent will be responsible for overall performance and direction of the IT function and will work very closely with group companies as well as IT stakeholders for external clients.
- The person will need to ensure that the overall delivery of services meets agreed KPIs and SLAs defined and is within strong internal controls and security framework on IT. He/She will work closely with Operating entities' IT function to build IT teams to support them internally within the company as well as through selecting partners and external clients, wherever needed.
- As a member of the Leadership Team, the person plays a critical role in building the capability and standards of the company and will support the development and sustainability by ensuring service delivery excellence.
- This position has matrix reporting - locally reporting directly to CEO and group CTO.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technology - Function Leadership:
- Manage and grow the IT shared services team, while ensuring smooth delivery of day-to-day IT operations for THE COMPANY operating entities and external clients
- Finalize and Implement Operating Model for IT operations
- IT Operations areas may include but not limited to:
- Azure infrastructure, Security & Network
- Testing
- IT Help Desk
- Database management
- Application development and maintenance
- BI report development
- Devices management
- IT Policies, Data Protection
- Lead the team of IT professionals to ensure that overall delivery of services is within agreed KPIs and SLAs
- Drive IT specific programs (digital transformation, automation, integration, and emerging technologies) requirements with support from central team and other stakeholders, as appropriate. These programs could be directly for group companies or for THE COMPANY locally
- Act as a CISO for The company
- Work closely with THE COMPANY Op-cos for all IT related specific requirements for THE COMPANYS
- Ensures timely communication to employees related to IT
2.People Management:
- Continuously strive to build a culture of high-performance
- Facilitate effective teamwork and builds collaborative relationships internally and externally
- Manage the performance of the IT team
- Constant feedback, train and coach the team members for high performance
3. Service Excellence and Stakeholders Management:
- Ensure overall delivery of services to Op-cos meets or exceeds agreed KPIs and SLAs defined between Operating Companies and THE COMPANYS and is within a strong internal control framework on IT
- Partner with the onshore stakeholders and Service Management team to:

- Create a mindset of innovation aimed at constantly challenging the norm to drive business value
- Responsible for ensuring a disciplined approach to operational excellence/performance management is in place and evolves over time
- Driving ongoing continuous improvement within IT boundaries to improve profitability
Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in managing a client-service oriented IT function; (preferably IT or Business shared service setup) with experience in management of large corporate initiatives/projects, strategic thinking, relationship management, processes and recruiting, developing, coaching and monitoring employees.
- Ability to think strategically, taking a balanced short and long-term view when solving problems.
- Strong Program Management skills on IT or IT Transformation project with knowledge of multiple emerging technologies, come up with alternate/innovative solutions.
- Collaborative, Result oriented, with high level of motivation for self-growth, along with the drive for growing team members and overall organization.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience of working in services industry, preferably MNC and internal stakeholders.
- Past experience in setting up IT shared services team.
- Drive and get the work done from people not directly reporting in a collaborative manner.
- Flexibility to manage teams working in different time zones (US and UK).
- Work Hours: As per US client; 3 pm to 12 pm / WFO
Qualifications:
- Post-graduation in IT
- PMP / alternative certification
- Information security certification (CISA/CISSP), data privacy certification will be a plus.
