API Developer (3-5 yrs)

The API Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing REST APIs for the Customer and Loan Master Data API solution.

This role requires strong coding skills, a deep understanding of API development best practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with other developers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement REST APIs for the Customer and Loan Master Data API solution.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Perform unit testing and integration testing.

- Debug and resolve technical issues.

- Manage code using version control systems (e., Git).

- Adhere to API security best practices (e., OAuth 2.0, JWT).

- Implement data transformation processes.

- Collaborate with other developers, testers, and business analysts to ensure the quality of the API solution.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging API development technologies and trends.

- Contribute to the development of API documentation.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in API development.

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e., Java, Python, Node.js).

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.

- Experience with API development frameworks (e., Spring, Express).

- Knowledge of API security best practices (e., OAuth 2.0, JWT).

- Experience with database technologies (e., SQL, NoSQL).

- Experience with cloud platforms (e., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
