AppDynamics Engineer - Monitoring & Performance Optimization (7-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Agent Configuration : Expertly configure application agents, including Java, .NET, Node.js, and web server agents, to ensure comprehensive monitoring and performance optimization.

- End-User and Infrastructure Monitoring : Implement End-User Monitoring (EUM) and infrastructure monitoring using machine agents, as well as database monitoring, to maintain system reliability and performance.

- Business Transaction Management : Configure and customize business transactions within AppDynamics to accurately reflect application workflows and performance metrics.

- Dashboard and Alert Creation : Develop intuitive dashboards and set up proactive alerts in AppDynamics to facilitate real-time monitoring and rapid response to performance issues.

- Health Rules and Reporting : Establish health rules, generate detailed reports, perform analytics, and configure custom metrics in AppDynamics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- AppDynamics Expertise : A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with AppDynamics, demonstrating deep knowledge and practical application of its features and capabilities.

- Agent Configuration Proficiency : Proven experience in configuring various application agents such as Java, .NET, Node.js, and web server agents.

- Monitoring Skills : Strong background in implementing End-User Monitoring (EUM), infrastructure monitoring with machine agents, and database monitoring.

- Customization Abilities : Ability to configure and customize business transactions, create dashboards, set up alerts, and define health rules within AppDynamics.

- Analytical Thinking : Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on performance metrics and system optimization.

- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Location Flexibility : Willingness to work in either Bangalore or Chennai, with the ability to join immediately or within a 15-day notice period.
