Senior AEM Guides Developer - DITA/XML (6-10 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Senior AEM Guides Developer with expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Guides.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AEM-based structured content authoring, DITA XML, component development, workflows, and integrations. This is a contractual and remote role for an immediate joiner.

Key Responsibilities :

1. AEM Guides Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, and customize AEM Guides templates, components, and workflows.

- Implement structured content authoring using DITA XML in AEM Guides.

- Develop custom content fragment models and integrations with AEM Assets & Sites.

2. Content & Workflow Management :

- Manage AEM Guides-based documentation systems for structured content.

- Configure DITA Maps, content reuse, and metadata tagging.

- Implement content governance policies and approval workflows in AEM Guides.

3. Integration & API Development :

- Integrate AEM Guides with external repositories, headless CMS, and RESTful APIs.

- Work with GraphQL, Sling models, and OSGi services for AEM customization.

- Ensure seamless content delivery across digital platforms.

4. Performance Optimization & Best Practices :

- Optimize AEM Guides configurations for high performance and scalability.

- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and security best practices.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment for AEM-based projects.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in AEM development (1-2 years in AEM Guides).

- Hands-on experience with DITA XML, AEM Guides authoring, and metadata management.

- Strong expertise in Sling Models, OSGi Services, JCR, and AEM Workflows.

- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and headless content delivery.

- Knowledge of AEM Assets, Sites, and Content Fragment Models.

- Ability to work independently in a contractual remote setup.

- Immediate availability is a must.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).

- Adobe Certified Expert - AEM Sites/Assets Developer is a plus.

- Exposure to automated documentation workflows and AI-driven content automation.
