AEM DAM Migration Engineer (4-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AEM DAM Migration Engineer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and supporting the migration of digital assets from existing systems to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) DAM.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and successful transition while optimizing asset management processes within the AEM ecosystem.

Responsibilities :

Migration Planning & Execution :

- Lead and participate in the planning and execution of AEM DAM migration projects.

- Assess and document the current state of the existing DAM system(s), including data volume, metadata structure, and user permissions.

- Define migration scope, timelines, and resource requirements.

- Develop and execute migration strategies, including data cleansing, transformation, and validation.

- Oversee the migration process, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any migration-related issues.

AEM DAM Expertise :

- Deep understanding of AEM DAM functionalities, including asset organization, metadata management, user permissions, and workflows.

- Experience with AEM integrations, such as integrating assets with other AEM modules (e.g, Sites, Forms).

- Knowledge of AEM content authoring and digital asset lifecycle management best practices.

- Ability to optimize AEM DAM performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

Cross-functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketing teams, and project managers.

- Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users on AEM DAM usage.

Documentation & Reporting :

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of migration processes, procedures, and best practices.

- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on AEM DAM.

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with AEM DAM migration projects.

- Strong understanding of AEM DAM architecture, functionalities, and best practices.

- Experience with data migration tools and techniques.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Education :

- Bachelor's/ master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
