SAP PP Lead - Implementation & Configuration (10-17 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Lead to oversee the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Production Planning (PP) solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex manufacturing and production processes within SAP and a proven track record of leading SAP PP initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP PP (Production Planning) solutions for manufacturing and production processes.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical and functional specifications.

- Configure and optimize SAP PP modules, including Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Shop Floor Control, Capacity Planning, and Production Orders.

- Integrate SAP PP with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, and QM to ensure seamless operations.

- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams in the implementation and support of SAP PP processes.

- Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, ensuring a smooth go-live process.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional designs, process flows, and training materials.

- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA PP innovations and recommend system enhancements.

- Train end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of SAP PP solutions.

Mandatory Skills :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP implementation and support.

- Expertise in MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.

- Strong knowledge of integration points between SAP PP and other SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, QM).

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA PP configuration and migration projects.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing production planning workflows.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Nice to Have Skills :

- SAP certifications in PP or related modules.

- Experience in Discrete Manufacturing and Process Industries.

- Knowledge of SAP APO or IBP (Integrated Business Planning).

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

- Experience with global SAP rollouts and multi-site implementations.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
