SAP Consultant - FICO/COPA Modules (10-15 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Specialist with expertise in SAP COPA and a solid background in SAP HANA to lead financial and controlling module implementations, enhancements, and optimizations. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep domain knowledge to provide innovative solutions, streamline business processes, and ensure seamless integration across modules.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO modules (FI: Financial Accounting, CO: Controlling) in alignment with business requirements.

- Implement and optimize SAP COPA (Controlling - Profitability Analysis) solutions to provide actionable insights and improve profitability tracking.

- Leverage SAP HANA capabilities to enhance system performance, enable real-time analytics, and improve financial reporting.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps, and develop comprehensive solutions.

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems.

- Conduct data migration, validation, and testing to ensure accuracy and consistency.

- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and training materials.

- Provide end-user training and post-go-live support to ensure smooth adoption.

- Stay updated on the latest SAP trends, features, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO, with expertise in FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing).

- 5+ years of experience with SAP HANA, including data modeling, analytics, and performance optimization.

- Strong knowledge of SAP COPA for profitability analysis and reporting.

- Proven experience in full-cycle SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.

- Proficiency in designing and executing financial reports using tools like SAP FIORI or SAP Analytics Cloud.

- Strong understanding of integration points between SAP FICO and other modules (MM, SD, PP).

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Nice to Have Skills :

- Knowledge of S/4HANA Finance features like Universal Journal and Central Finance.

- Experience with advanced SAP tools such as SAP BPC, SAP BW/BI, or SAP FSCM.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.

- SAP certifications in FICO or HANA are highly desirable.

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
