Job Summary:

We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of system administration, networking, and IT security, along with a strong willingness to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration & Support:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows, desktops, and network devices.
• Monitor system performance and security to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

User & IT Support:

• Respond to helpdesk requests and troubleshoot system issues for employees.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including setting up accounts, permissions, and hardware.
• Maintain IT documentation, including asset inventory and user access logs.

Network & Security Maintenance:

• Support network troubleshooting, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity issues.
• Ensure system backups, updates, and security patches are regularly applied.
• Assist in implementing cybersecurity measures to protect company data.

Hardware & Software Management:

• Install, upgrade, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
• Assist with hardware setups, replacements, and troubleshooting (PCs, printers, routers, etc.).
• Support cloud-based services such as Google Workspace, Office 365, and other enterprise tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Office 365, and cloud-based services.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding of firewalls, security protocols, and IT best practices.
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote desktop support tools.
