Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, security, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities:

1. Establish and manage user accounts while monitoring user access and security.
2. Optimize the physical design of databases to meet system storage requirements.
3. Perform capacity planning to ensure scalability and efficiency.
4. Independently analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues in real-time, ensuring end-to-end problem resolution.
5. Provide 24x7 production support and be available for escalations when required.
6. Enforce and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
7. Communicate regularly with technical, application, and operational teams to ensure database integrity and security.
8. Conduct trend analysis and provide insights to the management team for informed decision-making.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Experience: 10+ years in database administration.
2. Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB on medium to large systems. Proficiency in performance tuning, backup, recovery, security, disaster recovery, patching, and upgrades. Ability to identify and recommend improvements to the build process.
3. Development Experience: Added advantage.
