Job Description

Role Purpose:


This position demands a unique blend of marketing proficiency, leadership acumen and the capability to implement impactful field marketing activities in a dynamic field environment.

A Field Marketing Manager to take charge of developing and executing field marketing initiatives aimed at boosting brand awareness, elevating lead generation, and advancing sales objectives within India region. The role demands to join forces with cross-functional teams sales, after sales, marketing, product, finance etc. and external stake holders - Dealer network, agencies etc. to meticulously plan and implement impactful field marketing campaigns aligned with the companys overarching goals. Success in this role hinges on a profound understanding of the local market, robust leadership skills, and the ability to analyze data to optimize field marketing actions effectively.


Primary and Secondary duties:

1. Develop and execute field marketing activities to achieve lead generation in line with sales targets and opportunities in the marketplace aligned with business requirements.

2. Collaborate with the sales, after sales, marketing, and dealers team to create and disseminate compelling and localized marketing content, such as brochures, presentations, case studies, and webinars.

3. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.

4. Manage and coordinate local trade shows, conferences, and events to maximize brand exposure and generate leads.

5. Plan, Manage, coordinate, and execute Factory visits for maximum RoI.

6. Plan, Manage, coordinate, and execute machines Demonstrations to establish new machines in existing and new markets/applications/customers and help inroads in opening new opportunities while adhering to SoPs and policies.

7. Plan, Manage, coordinate, and execute Rental business for maximum utilization of machines and collection within agreement terms.

8. Coordinate and drive marketing Process automation along with IT teams, test and train the users, ensure usage of new tools and measure performance.

9. Coordinate with stakeholders for conducting Training sessions for Sales and service teams,

10. Plan, Manage, coordinate, and execute Rural business development activities.

11. Plan, Manage, coordinate, and execute CSR initiatives along with stakeholders in the system.

12. Monitor and analyze marketing activity/campaign performance, including ROI, lead conversion rates, and sales pipeline impact. Proactively improve to maximize RoI.

13. Champion the marketing policies and SoPs to ensure adherence and compliances.

14. Champion the Risk Compliances are adhered to for the marketing function. Coordinate to Facilitate the regular audits with the stakeholders.

15. Manage budget for the marketing function.

Leadership/Team Management Responsibility:


1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, vendors, agencies, and industry influencers.

2. Provide regular reports and updates on marketing activities, results, and forecasts to the management team.

3. Collaborate with sales aftersales teams to develop and execute targeted account-based marketing campaigns.

4. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging marketing technologies to continuously improve regional marketing strategies.

5. Support channel partners with marketing collateral, training, and co-marketing programs to drive sales.


Education/Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in engineering and a masters degree in marketing / business administration.

2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing, with at least 7 years in a field marketing or regional marketing role.

3. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and driving measurable results.

4. Experience in the Construction Equipment / Commercial Vehicle industry or B2B marketing is preferred.

5. Strong knowledge of marketing analytics and reporting tools.

6. Ability to travel as needed.

Essential experience and skills:

1. Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

3. Solid understanding of marketing principles and strategies, with experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.

4. Proficiency in digital marketing channels to amplify and track the effectiveness of field marketing actions for higher output
