Capex & Treasury Accounting, GL Control & Audit

Job purpose: -

Responsible for end-to-end financial audit for India AG ITC which include financial preparation, audit, trust audit, tax audit and other statutory compliance.

Responsible for Consolidation of Financial statements (CFS).

Responsible for treasury accounting, capex accounting and financial Audit.

Support/super wise month/quarter and year end reporting.

2.) Dimensions: -

Reporting to: India Financial Consolidation, Reporting and Audit Lead (FCARL)

Position Responsibility (Area Covering): - India AG ITC audit, CFS audit, reporting, treasury, and capex accounting.

3.) Key Result Areas (KRA s) / Measures of Performance (MOP s): -

Accuracy and timeliness in preparation and closure of audit (statutory, tax and trust audit) with no open observations.

Proper repository of audit records/audit leads

Maintaining ICFR/SOX document accurately

Accuracy and timeliness in capex treasury accounting.

Identify the system improvements with in the KRA and ensure duly approved systems changes.

Timely completion of certification requested by other departments

4.) Background Information and Main Activities: -

Responsible for preparation of financial statement under Ind AS and getting reviewed with FCARL and coordinate with auditors for audit closure and maintained repository of data.

Prepare Ind AS adjustments and get it validated from audit team and FCARL

Review all the audit leads including notes to account and ensuring accuracy and completeness

Review the financial with audit manager and ensure timely closure of all the open audit points.

Track audit pending issues of last audit and ensure closure of the same in discussion with respective stakeholders

Co-ordination with shared service partner for ensuring completeness of audit and other activities.

Responsible for preparation of trust financial and audit and get the review with FCARL.

Ensuring timely capex accounting and reporting and interact with all the user department and ensure timely closure of open items in CWIP and review various capex reports.

Responsible for preparation all CA certificate required by other departments and coordinate with consultant for closure and issuance.

Support/Super wise overall TB closing and month end/Quarter end/year end submission under IFRS and US-GAAP.

Support in submission of accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly schedules to group.

Manage treasury accounting with consultant and ensure timely preparation of bank reconciliation and closure of all the open points in coordination with CNH team.

Review assigned blackline reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness.

Ensure SOX and ICOFR compliances w.r.t. defined KRA and get it reviewed and approved from manager

Responsible for all ad hoc queries related to audit and other activities assigned and provide timely response.

5.) Skill Sets competencies: -

Technical accounting knowledge and ability to implement the accounting principles for being compliant and for the support of the business.

Exposure of reporting under Ind AS/IGAAP, US GAAP and IFRS

Knowledge of reporting under Hyperion, MS excel and power point

Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills

Committed, hardworking and detail oriented

Adapts easily to a fast-changing environment and ability to handle phases with high workload and unplanned activities.

Individual contributor with team management skills

7.) Qualification and Experience: -

Education-

CA and B.Com.

Professional Qualification-
