India Tractor PD Controller

Job Purpose:

1. Responsible for driving financial evaluation of Product Programs in co-ordination with Sales Marketing, Manufacturing, PDE, Purchase, Logistics Value Analysis team

2. Responsible for forecasting, controlling and reporting for PD Investments expenditure

Dimensions:

1. Reporting To: PD APAC TTF Controller

2. Position Responsibility:

a. Investments Expenditure Planning and Controlling activities for Tractor/Noida Plant Projects

b. Financial evaluation of all new products and product improvement/changes (Tractor/Noida Plant Projects)

c. Monitor and control Investments / New Current product budget for Tractor/Noida Plant projects

Key Result Areas (KRA) / Measures of Performance (MOP)

1. Lead forecasting and budgeting activities for Investments Expenditure of India Tractor Platform
2. Lead and develop business cases (financial evaluation) for new products, product improvements, cost reduction localization projects
3. Track and Report actual status of the approved programs (Investment, Pricing, Margin etc.)
4. Track and Report actual status for PD expenses / CAPEX and New Current Product
5. Improve process and reporting for better visibility to management

BACKGROUND / MAIN ACTIVITIES / JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -

The position is primarily responsible for following activities for PDE Control (Tractor /Noida Plant projects)

Product Development Engineering Control Reporting:

o Developing, Monitoring and Reporting financial impacts of Product Development Program in co-ordination with Sales Marketing, Manufacturing, PDE, Purchase, Logistics Value Analysis team

o Financial Planning and Analysis for all new India based Product Development Programs for Tractor / Noida Plant projects

Coordinate Annual Budget/Forecast process for investment spending plans

Analyse actual investment spending results for all Platform activities and prepare trend and variance analysis reports

o Conducting Cost and Benefit Analysis to assess Profitability, project viability etc.

o Review specific Technical Investment requests, Approve and control the release of funds corresponding with the request

RD Expenditure Control

o Lead budgeting and forecasting of RD Expenditure for AG Tractor Platform

o Monitor, track and Control all RD Expenditure

o Review specific RD Proposal, Approve and control the release of funds corresponding with the request

Product Development Capital Expenditure Control

o Lead budgeting and forecasting activities for Capex / Launches

o Monitor, track and Control all Capital Expenditure / Launches

o Review specific Capex Proposal, Approve and control the release of funds corresponding with the request

Skill Sets competencies:

CA / CMA/ MBA

7 - 10+ years experience in FPA for New Product Development; Project Analysis Management,

Experience within an Industrial and Manufacturing environment

Committed, detail oriented, self-starter with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills to clearly and accurately convey complex metrics and analysis to internal teams and all levels of management

Cross-functional, multi-level collaboration skills

Strong MS Office skills including experience with financial/operational model building
