Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Trade Pre Matching
• Fails Management
• Settlements
• Reconciliation
• Seek out opportunities for efficiency gains
• Fails Coverage/SBL Collateral
• ADR/GDR Conversions
• Active participation in Projects and UAT testing

Requirements

• Graduate with at least 3 years of experience in a securities/banking related industry or similar position
• Detailed knowledge of European and Asian and US equity and Fixed income products , their practices, procedures and trends
• Sell side brokerage operations working knowledge
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all senior levels of management.
• Email Vs Phone: To know what is the best method for client communication given in a certain situation prioritizing issues.
• Timely escalation of issues to management.
• Knowledge of operations systems/applications commonly used in securities related industry
• Ability to take up multi-tasking and accomplish tasks in priorities in a timely manner
• Ability to build rapport with Local office, brokers and clients based across all regions
• Must be able to participate in change, identify opportunities and challenge current processes and practices
• Self-motivated, desire to be challenged and eager to learn
• Should set up good example for associates by proactively seeking additional opportunities, should be interested in learning outside regular BAU activities
• Should be interested in upward mobility and to work on to get there and should be able to drive own career development
• An officer should be able to recognize the risk involved, should recognize good ideas and able to act on them.
• An officer should mentor associates and provide them direction with clarity, should cover others during leave periods
• Should have flexible approach towards project management, should understand the context of change impacting the dept.
• Officer should set example for associates in terms of managing time effectively, escalation of issues to managers and efficiency in completing work tasks.
