Role Overview:
The Operations Head will oversee the daily operations of Cityfurnish.com, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality across all departments. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, and team management to support the company's growth and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
2. Oversee the management of the Inventory Management System, Delivery Tracker System, and other key operational systems.
3. Ensure accurate and timely data and reporting across all systems and departments.
4. Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
6. Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
7. Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
9. Drive initiatives to enhance customer experience, reduce operational costs, and improve service delivery.
10. Oversee the logistics and supply chain management, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
11. Implement and manage quality control processes to maintain high standards of product and service quality.
12. Lead projects and initiatives aimed at process optimisation and innovation.
Qualifications:
1. MBA in Operations or SCM or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the furniture or rental industry.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing operational processes.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
6. Proficient in the use of operational management software and tools (e.g., Zoho, Odoo, advanced Excel).
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
