Job Description

Job Summary:


The B2B Operation Assistant Manager - Warehouse Logistics is responsible for managing and optimizing all logistics and warehouse operations for business-to-business (B2B) clients. This role involves overseeing the entire supply chain process from receiving to dispatch, ensuring efficient and effective distribution operations, maintaining client relationships, and achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse and Logistics Management:

- Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order processing, and dispatching.

- Ensure warehouse layout and logistics processes are optimized for efficiency, safety, and productivity.

- Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to comply with company standards and legal regulations.

2. Inventory Control:

- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to minimize discrepancies.

- Implement and manage inventory management systems to track stock levels, orders, and deliveries.

- Manage stock replenishment processes to ensure product availability and minimize overstock or stockouts.

3. Transportation and Distribution:

- Coordinate transportation and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

- Manage relationships with carriers and logistics service providers.

- Monitor transportation costs and negotiate rates to optimize logistics expenses.

4. Team Leadership:

- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse and logistics staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities for team members.

- Foster a positive and productive work environment.

5. Technology and Systems:

- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to improve operational efficiency.

- Stay updated with technological advancements and integrate new tools and systems as appropriate.

Ensure the security and integrity of data within warehouse and logistics systems.

6. Budget Management:

- Develop and manage the warehouse and logistics budget, including labor, equipment, and operational expenses.

- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare financial reports and present them to senior management.

7. Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

- Experience: Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, particularly in a B2B environment.

- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
