IT Executive - Hardware

You will:

Technical Support: Provide 1st and 2nd level support for desktop-related issues.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
Assist users with the installation, configuration, and on-going usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software.
Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely manner.
Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform regular maintenance on desktop systems to ensure optimal performance.
Install, upgrade, and configure operating systems and applications.
Manage and deploy updates and patches.
Security: Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect desktop environments.
Ensure antivirus software is installed, updated, and functioning properly.
Conduct regular security audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
Asset Management: Maintain an inventory of desktop hardware and software assets.
Track and manage software licenses.
Assist in the procurement of new hardware and software as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and implement new technologies. Participate in cross-functional projects to improve overall IT services.

You have:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in a desktop support or desktop engineering role.
Experience with Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with Active Directory, group policies, and network
configurations.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is desirable.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern
Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent is preferred.
