Preparation of Standalone & Consolidated Financial Statements:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Prepare and manage the consolidation process for financial statements, including intercompany eliminations, adjustments, and reconciling group accounts.
Ensure accurate consolidation of subsidiaries, including the application of appropriate accounting policies and consolidation techniques.
Ensure compliance with IND AS and legal requirements for consolidation and group reporting.
Provide financial analysis and insights to management for decision-making purposes.
Coordinate with external auditors during statutory & tax audits and quarterly limited review. Resolve any queries or issues raised.
Amalgamation & Demerger:
Ensure accurate accounting for the transfer of assets & liabilities and manage related journal entries and adjustments relating to amalgamation & demerger.
Work closely with legal and tax teams to ensure all transactions are compliant with relevant corporate and tax laws.
Prepare and present financial statements related to amalgamation and demerger activities.
Fixed Assets Management:
Oversee the accurate recording, classification, and management of fixed assets in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Ensure timely capitalization of assets and compliance with depreciation policies and calculations.
Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, ensuring it reflects any changes due to acquisitions, disposals, or transfers.
Provide monthly and year-end reports on the status of fixed assets and related financial data.
Review asset impairment and manage asset write-offs in compliance with accounting standards.
To prepare depreciation & amortization schedule as per The Companies Act and as per The Income Tax Act.
Budget Preparation & Analysis :
Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts for the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Collaborate with department heads to gather inputs and track key business drivers affecting the budget.
Support efforts to monitor and control operational costs by analyzing spending patterns and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
System Automation & Setting-up SOPs:
Strengthening internal controls by standardizing financial processes and automating manual controls where possible to enhance security and reduce risk of errors.
Active participation in development & implementation strategy for automating accounting and financial processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual interventions, and minimize errors.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
CA (Chartered Accountant) with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.
Previous experience with listed entities and the consolidation of financial statements is highly preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced level) and SAP HANA software.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data.
Familiarity with Ind AS and taxation regulations (GST, income tax, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage relationships with internal teams.
