Manager-Admissions

The Team Manager Admissions and Outreach is a key leadership role within the Admissions department. The person in this role will be responsible for managing and driving the admissions process, overseeing outreach activities, and ensuring the effective recruitment of students. The role requires strong leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of the education sector, and the ability to develop strategies that enhance student engagement and enrollment.

Key Responsibilities:

Admissions Strategy Development:

Develop and implement admissions strategies and plans to drive student enrollment for various programs at Chandigarh University. Identify target markets and key recruitment channels.

Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of admissions officers and outreach coordinators to achieve enrollment targets. Set clear goals, provide ongoing training, and support for the team to ensure high performance and engagement.

Student Outreach Programs:

Plan and oversee outreach programs, including school visits, college fairs, webinars, and information sessions, to engage prospective students and build awareness about the universitys programs and values.

Digital Marketing & Social Media Outreach:

Work with the marketing team to develop digital campaigns (social media, email marketing, etc.) that promote admissions and enhance the university's visibility. Use digital platforms to engage prospective students and encourage applications.

Lead Generation & Follow-ups:

Manage the lead generation process by identifying prospective students, creating targeted campaigns, and ensuring regular follow-ups. Develop strategies to convert leads into applicants by providing information and personalized guidance.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as high school counselors, coaching centers, education agents, and parents. Collaborate with faculty and department heads to provide accurate program information.

Data-Driven Decisions & Reporting:

Monitor and analyze outreach and admissions data, including lead conversion rates, student demographics, and market trends. Report key metrics to senior management and adjust strategies to maximize recruitment effectiveness.

Coordination of Admission Events:

Oversee the planning and execution of admission-related events, such as open houses, campus tours, and online webinars, to engage prospective students and provide them with a first-hand experience of the university.

Application Processing:

Ensure smooth processing of applications, maintaining communication with prospective students throughout the admissions cycle. Provide guidance on the application process, scholarship opportunities, and required documentation.

Brand Representation:

Act as a brand ambassador for Chandigarh University, promoting the institution’s strengths, values, and unique offerings. Represent the university at educational fairs, public speaking events, and student interaction sessions.

Feedback & Improvement:

Collect feedback from prospective students, parents, and outreach partners to continually improve admissions processes and outreach strategies. Implement improvements based on this feedback to enhance the overall experience for applicants.

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, or outreach, with at least 4 years in a leadership or team management role.

Strong understanding of the higher education landscape, particularly in admissions and student outreach.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Experience in using CRM tools, lead management systems, and analytics platforms to track outreach and admissions performance.
