PR and Social Media Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative PR and Social Media Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the public relations strategy and social media presence of the company, driving brand awareness, and engaging with our audience across various digital channels. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy that aligns with company goals, brand image, and key messaging. Work on media outreach, press releases, and company announcements.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets to secure press coverage, interviews, and features.
• Write engaging press releases, media kits, blog posts, social media content, and other marketing communications that promote brand initiatives and campaigns.
• Oversee the company’s social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more. Develop and implement social media strategies, create content, and track engagement.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to design and execute PR campaigns and social media initiatives that drive engagement, lead generation, and brand visibility.
• Monitor brand mentions and media coverage, and quickly address any negative publicity or emerging PR issues. Handle crises with professionalism and create strategies to mitigate potential damage to the brand’s image.
• Track the performance of PR and social media campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and social media insights. Regularly report on metrics such as reach, engagement, traffic, and ROI.
• Stay up-to-date with current PR and social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure the company’s strategies are cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

• Experience with SEO, SEM, and digital marketing strategies.
• Understanding of influencer marketing and partnerships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in PR, social media management, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful media campaigns and social media strategies.
• Analytical mindset with experience tracking and reporting on PR and social media performance.
• Crisis communication experience is a plus.
• Creative, proactive, and solution-oriented with attention to detail.
