Job Overview:

As an Export Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the export logistics operations of our company. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods from our facilities to international destinations while adhering to all regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to streamline processes and resolve any logistical issues that may arise. This role involves working closely with various departments, including Sales, Production, Customers, Vendor and Dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the export logistics operations including documentation, transportation, customs clearance, and insurance.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export licenses.
• Select and negotiate with freight forwarders and carriers to secure competitive rates and efficient transport solutions.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export controls, and customs requirements.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively resolve any logistics issues.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers regarding shipment status and logistics updates.
• Manage relationships with customs brokers and other service providers to expedite customs clearance processes.
• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
• Develop and implement strategies for risk management and contingency planning related to export logistics.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to export shipments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience 7 to 10 year in export logistics operations, preferably in manufacturing or trading environment.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics (e.g., CSCMP, CILT) is a plus.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English (additional language skills are a plus).
