Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Fabrication Supervisor to oversee the fabrication of machinery used in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of fabricators, ensuring that all fabrication processes meet quality standards, timelines, and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Supervise, train, and lead a team of fabricators in the production of pharmaceutical machinery components.
• Fabrication Oversight: Oversee all aspects of the fabrication process, including cutting, welding, assembly, and finishing of machine parts.
• Quality Control: Ensure all fabricated parts meet required specifications and quality standards. Perform regular quality checks and inspections.
• Compliance: Ensure all fabrication processes comply with company standards, safety regulations, and industry-specific guidelines (especially GMP for pharma manufacturing).
• Production Planning: Coordinate and schedule fabrication tasks based on production timelines. Ensure timely completion of all fabrication work while maintaining high-quality output.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot issues with fabrication processes, equipment, or materials and implement corrective actions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as design, engineering, and procurement, to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any fabrication-related challenges.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production processes, inspections, and materials used for compliance and traceability.
• Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in fabrication processes, efficiency, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in fabrication or welding processes are a plus.
• Experience:
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fabrication, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment focused on pharma machinery or industrial equipment.
• Skills:
  
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, machinery, welding, and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations (GMP, FDA, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Familiarity with computer software used in production planning and inventory management (e.g., SAP, MS Excel).
• Knowledge of materials, including metals and alloys commonly used in pharmaceutical machinery.
