Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Marketing, Sales, Business Development and proposal estimation for Turnkey HV Substation Solutions
  • Identify & track upcoming substation project opportunities, develop strategic partnerships with Key Accounts for participation in targeted projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project developers, utilities, and engineering firms for increasing business of substation especially in private sector.
  • Sales Experience of substation market in vertical segments like Datacentre, Large Industries & other private sectors.
  • Implementation of strategies for profitable penetration into new segments.
  • Makes presentations to key customers on a technical level as and when required
  • Guides procurement & execution to establish strategic partnerships with vendors by early engagement
  • Manage the minimum Technical & Financial Qualification Requirements during projects pre-bid stage.
  • Prepare & Analyze Project Estimation, Cost optimization and Win/Loss Analysis.
  • Competitibve analysis of the market and advise optimized solution.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders and RFPs
  • Review of Contractual Terms & Conditions (Qualification, Specifications, General & Specific Contract Conditions) for Risk Assessment, to identify Change & Claim opportunities to improve sales margin.
  • Webinar / Presentation to Customers to introduce company credentials.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to secure profitable agreements.
  • Analysis of growth strategy and identify new markets with prospective clients.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and project management, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering. Preferably Electrical/Electronics.
  • 8+ years of successful business development or sales experience in HV Substation EPC business.
  • Strong understanding of technologies and substation operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities.
