Job Description

Project Management: Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain schedules based on customer requirements.
  2. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all necessary resources are available for projected jobs.
  3. Monitor project progress against established schedules, identifying any delays or issues that may arise.
  4. Plan S Curve as per baseline schedule.
  5. Prepare L4 Schedule on MSP & Primavera P6 as per the requirement of the projects.
  6. Develop project program dashboard and milestones.
  7. Communicate schedule updates regularly with relevant stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aware of any changes or adjustments.
  8. Identify potential conflicts or constraints in project timelines and propose alternative solutions.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize resource allocation.
  10. Regularly conduct internal reviews with other departments to ensure communication and timely action to plan
  11. Generate Monthly Progress Reports covering Financial Health, Revenue performance, highlighting areas of improvement or concern.
  12. Develop Risk Register
  13. Develop Monthly Portfolio Review Presentation for the Management.
  14. Interpret and enforce Key Performance Indicators with the external supplier.
  15. Manage the project team allocating tasks to team members, following their progress in line with Project plan (scope, schedule and budget) till completion. Animate the communication within the team.
  16. Manage project contract ensuring fulfilment of Schneider Electric contractual obligations and application of its contractual rights.
  17. Ensure all appropriate actions to timely recover customer receivables (payments ) are done with the support of shared functions.
  18. Monitor and control Project progress versus budget spending. Ensure full & effective reporting to management (reports, project reviews, ).
  19. Inform timely the management about project events impacting project performance or compliance with governance principles.
  20. Identify and take all necessary actions to manage risks and address opportunities. Manage claims & variation orders.
  21. Act as primary point of contact for the customer organizing all project team interaction with the customer (correspondences, emails, calls, meetings, ...).
  22. Insure highest level of customer satisfaction.
  23. Take full accountability over project profitability (cost, cash flow & margin) including forecasting, engagements follow-up & re-forecasting. Ensure timely revenue recognition as per forecast.
  24. Ensure project team and suppliers are executing the project in full compliance with Schneider-Electric processes, quality instructions and governance principles.
  25. Take all necessary actions to correct any deviations or quality issues occurring during project execution.
  26. Be actively involved with Sales & Tendering team to get a successful project handing over.
  27. Conduct Lessons Learned session with Project team to share feedback.
  28. Be active in PM Community of Practice.
Site Management Activities
  1. Create the site execution plan based on the inputs from site and Head office.
  2. Ensure adherence to execution plan to avoid schedule variance.
  3. Monitor the execution of the job and ensure that activities are executed within the given budget to avoid cost variance.
  4. Close coordination with Customer on all site related issues for customer satisfaction.
  5. Communication with all project stake holder through various means like: Daily progress report, Work progress report, Monthly progress report.
  6. Ensuring that all the work is carried out as per the quality guidelines avoiding nonconformities.
  7. Compliance to Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) management on site.
  8. To get the necessary statutory compliance and abiding them at site.
  9. Ensuring revenue generation i.e. MRIR etc as per plan and clearing of outstanding with customer.
  10. Effective vendor management to ensure adequate availability of SE representative as per site/agreed schedule requirement.
  11. Effective coordination with external and internal resources for commissioning of the system
  1. Minimum 7-10 Years of experience in the Project Management Domain in Managing high value EPC projects.
  2. Electrical / Power electrical engineering overview & background in MV/ LV Electrical Distribution networks
