Job Title: Planning Head

Location: Tier 2 Cities, Western India

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Planning Head with a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in successfully planning, tracking, controlling, and delivering large-scale mixed-use projects, corporate office projects, hotel projects, retail malls, amusement parks, and convention centers. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from inception to handover, and will be proficient in utilizing Microsoft Project (MSP) for project management. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, exceeding client expectations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Experience managing projects exceeding 3 million sq ft is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for large-scale, complex projects (3+ million sq ft).

Manage and control project timelines, resources, and costs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, reports, and presentations.

Lead and mentor a team of planners and project coordinators.

Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams.

Utilize Microsoft Project (MSP) to track project progress, manage resources, and generate reports.

Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Conduct regular progress meetings and provide timely updates to senior management.

Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in project planning and execution.

Experience in handling projects from concept to completion including all stages of design, approvals, construction, and handover.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering.

12-15 years of experience in project planning and management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale mixed-use projects, corporate office projects, hotel projects, retail malls, amusement parks, and convention centers (3+ million sq ft).

Extensive knowledge of all phases of project development, from inception to handover.

Proficient in using Microsoft Project (MSP) for project planning, scheduling, and tracking.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
